Director I qualified as a Nurse from Robert Gordon University in September 2006. I worked for the NHS for a few years before transitioning to work as a nurse in a care home. After spending a few years in care homes, I took on the role of Care Home Manager and continued in that capacity for several years before deciding to become an agency nurse. Whilst working as an agency nurse, I travelled to different parts of Scotland where I witnessed various types of care, ranging from excellent to poor. This experience strengthened my determination to make a positive change in the care system. Consequently, Deklyn and I decided to start our own care company, with a commitment to putting the clients at the heart of everything we do. Thus, Mitchell & Murdoch Care Ltd was founded in December 2019.

Director My journey in health and social care started seven years ago, where I’ve gained abundant experience across a variety of settings. I’m deeply passionate about effective communication and delivering person-centred care. My experience has shaped my role, with a focus on instigating positive change within the Health and Social Care industry. With a shared vision, we established Mitchell & Murdoch Care in 2019.

Anja Spittal

Service Manager - Perth, Fife and Falkirk. Started in September 2024. My career in care began in 2015 when I decided to return to work having been a stay at home mum to my 3 children. I have always had a passion for caring for those in need and I enjoy assisting those individuals to live as full and independent a life as possible.
My journey with Mitchell and Murdoch Care started in September 2024 as the Growth and Development Manager, quickly transitioning into the Service Manager role for Fife, Perth and Falkirk in January 2025.
Throughout my career, I have gained a vast amount of knowledge and experience in the care sector which has helped me in gaining my social services SVQ levels 3 and 4, and I am currently progressing through my Leadership and Management course.
The team have been fully supportive of my goals and all work tirelessly to ensure our clients are well looked after. I am extremely positive and excited to grow alongside Mitchell and Murdoch and I am looking forward to the years ahead.

Marion Davis

Service Manager - Dundee. Started in August 2021. I have been a Registered nurse for nearly 38 years. Initially working in hospitals and day centres for people with learning disabilities. I moved into care of the elderly in 2009. I was the manager of nursing homes until May 2021 when I began in the care at home sector as a Senior Care Coordinator and trainer. I joined MM Care Ltd in August 2021, initially as the manager of the agency before becoming the Service Manager of the care at home provision.
I am most proud of the ongoing learning I do, including two stints at university where I gained a Bachelor of Nursing degree and a BA in Finance and Business. Work wise I love my job and it was a proud day for me over a year ago when we moved into Dundee to provide care, starting with only one run in Broughty Ferry, which has grown drastically over the year.
In my spare time, I can be found on the terraces of my local football club or spending time with my family.

Milan Scroggie

Service Manager - Aberdeen. Started in January 2024. After finishing my degree in Law and Management in 2019 I started a career in the care industry working as a Co-ordinator for a Home Help service within Aberdeen. I found that having a job in Health and Social care Is a rewarding one and we really did make a difference to many people’s lives. After 4 years there, I decided on a career change and worked as an Account Manager in Oil and Gas. I was only there a short time when an opportunity came up for a position at Mitchell and Murdoch when they opened the branch in Aberdeen.
It was a positive move, and I am happy to be back in Health and Social Care. The team here have been nothing but supportive since I have started. The staff and clients at Mitchell and Murdoch make my job enjoyable every day and I look forward to seeing how Mitchell and Murdoch grow in the coming years.

Business Support Manager. Started in December 2023. I joined Mitchell and Murdoch care as an administrator for the Aberdeen branch in 2023, and was promoted to Business Support Manager in February 2025. Before moving into the health and social care sector, I studied Social Sciences at college and spent 5 years working in hospitality, where I developed strong organisational and customer service skills. I'm currently studying for a BSc in Business Management through a graduate apprenticeship at Dundee University, which helps me apply new knowledge to my role. My work focuses on implementing and overseeing key operational processes, procurement, finance and revenue management, and supporting the smooth running of our business.

David Obayojie

Care Team Leader - Dundee. Started June 2023. My journey began in June 2023 with Mitchell and Murdoch, having amassed care experience with various agencies working in various hospitals across Scotland and I've been fortunate to progress to Care Team Leader by October 2024.
This rapid growth reflects my deep commitment to providing quality care and support to clients.
Before finding my passion in social care, I worked with an Electoral Management body in Africa and earned a Master's degree in Public Administration. These experiences have shaped my approach to leadership and service. However, it's my upbringing within a family deeply rooted in service that truly drives my dedication. My parents, both Clergy men, instilled in me the importance of compassion and helping others.
I genuinely love connecting with people and bringing a sense of positivity to their lives. I believe in fostering a supportive and uplifting environment for everyone I care for. Seeing the positive impact of our work is what gives me the greatest satisfaction.
