M & M care Nursing

Our Training Service

At M & M Care Nursing, we offer specialised physical training and rehabilitation services to support individuals in their journey toward recovery, mobility enhancement, and overall well-being. Our programs are designed to empower clients with personalised exercise routines, therapeutic interventions, and professional guidance to optimise physical function and independence.

Our Approach to Physical Training and Rehabilitation

  1. Assessment and Evaluation: Our experienced therapists conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ physical capabilities, mobility challenges, and rehabilitation goals. Based on this assessment, personalized treatment plans are developed to address individual needs and preferences.

  2. Customised Exercise Programs: We design customised exercise programs tailored to each client’s unique needs, incorporating a combination of strength training, flexibility exercises, balance exercises, and cardiovascular conditioning to improve mobility, stability, and overall physical function.

  3. Therapeutic Interventions: Our skilled therapists provide a range of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, joint mobilisation, soft tissue mobilisation, and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) techniques, to alleviate pain, reduce stiffness, and promote tissue healing.

  4. Functional Training: We focus on functional training exercises that mimic real-life movements and activities, helping clients regain independence in performing daily tasks and activities of daily living (ADLs) with confidence and ease.

  5. Progress Tracking and Monitoring: We regularly monitor clients’ progress throughout the rehabilitation process, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes and continued improvement.

At Mitchell & Murdoch Care, we prioritise the continuous development and empowerment of our staff through comprehensive training programmes. Our dynamic training encompasses both internal and external face-to-face sessions, ensuring our team is equipped with the latest knowledge and skills.

We are proud to extend our training programmes to external companies and members of the public. We believe that sharing our expertise contributes to the wider community’s ability to deliver compassionate and effective care.

Our diverse range of face-to-face training sessions covers essential topics such as moving & handling, basic life support, first aid, dementia awareness, and epilepsy awareness.

Delivered by seasoned professionals, our programmes are designed to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their respective roles.

Whether you’re a care provider, a healthcare professional, or an individual seeking to enhance your skills, our training offers invaluable insights and practical techniques. Join us in our commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

How does SDS work?

As an individual SDS allows you or your family to have control over your budget, allowing you to choose the support which meets your needs.

01

Direct Payment

The Local Authority decides how much money you are entitled to, allowing you to organise your support independently.

02

You decide and the Local Authority arranged the support

The Local Authority will decided how much money will be spent to support your needs. You will organise how your support is carried out and the Local Authority arranges this for you.

03

The local council decides and arranges support after having discussed with you

The council will decide how much money can be spent on your support. You ask the council to choose and arrange the support that it thinks is right for you.

04

A mixture of options 1, 2 and 3

This option lets you pick the parts you want to decide about and the parts you would like to leave to the local council.
